The Missing Phone
小红和朋友去旅游。
Xiaohong and friend go travel.
Xiaohong and a friend go on a trip.
他们住在宾馆。
They live at hotel.
They stay at a hotel.
宾馆真漂亮。
Hotel really pretty.
The hotel is lovely.
晚上，他们到房间。
Evening, they arrive room.
In the evening they reach their room.
小红想看手机，可是手机不见了。
Xiaohong want look phone, but phone not-seen (PERF).
Xiaohong reaches for her phone — but it’s gone.
她找了房间。手机不在桌子上，也不在椅子下面。
She look-for (PERF) room. Phone not at desk top, also not at chair under.
She searches the room. The phone isn’t on the desk or under the chair.
朋友说：“你最后看见手机是在哪儿？”
Friend says: "You last see phone is at where?"
Her friend asks, “Where did you last see it?”
小红想了想。
Xiaohong think (PERF) think.
Xiaohong thinks.
她说：“早上，我在飞机上看了手机。”
She says: "Morning, I at airplane on look (PERF) phone."
She says, “This morning I was using it on the plane.”
朋友说：“可能在你的衣服里。”
Friend says: "Maybe at your clothes inside."
Her friend says, “Maybe it’s in your jacket.”
小红看她的衣服。她的衣服里有手机！
Xiaohong look her clothes. Her clothes inside have phone!
Xiaohong checks her jacket. Her phone is right there!
朋友笑：“真的没问题。”
Friend laugh: "Really no problem."
Her friend laughs, “See? No problem.”
小红说：“我太累了，没看见手机在我的衣服里。”
Xiaohong says: "I too tired (PERF), not see phone at my clothes inside."
Xiaohong says, “I was too tired to notice it.”
朋友说：“好。现在你能看手机了。”
Friend says: "Good. Now you able look phone (PERF)."
Her friend says, “Okay, now you can check your phone.”
小红打电话给妈妈：“妈妈，我们到宾馆了。”
Xiaohong hit-phone give mom: "Mom, we arrive hotel (PERF)."
Xiaohong calls her mom: “Mom, we made it to the hotel.”
妈妈说：“好。早一点儿睡觉。”
Mom says: "Good. Early one-bit sleep."
Mom says, “Good. Get to bed early.”
小红说：“好。明天我们要去看新东西。”
Xiaohong says: "Good. Tomorrow we want go see new things."
Xiaohong says, “We will. We’re off to see new things tomorrow.”
