The App That Forgave
我是一名记者。

If anything, I felt strangely empty.
我开始去找用过这个软件的人。

I started looking for people who'd used the app.
一位先生说：用了三个月，我不再做坏梦了。

我开始明白：软件不是替我们带走难过。

I started to understand: the app wasn't carrying the pain for us.

It only is let we feel-not-arrive sad.
It just kept us from feeling the pain.
真正的原谅，要有人愿意去听，去等。
Truly (POSS) forgive, must have-person willing go listen, go wait.
Real forgiveness needs someone willing to listen, willing to wait.
也要有一个人，愿意改自己。
Also must have one (M) person, willing change self.
And it needs a person who's willing to change.
软件不会等你改。
Software not will wait you change.
The app doesn't wait for anyone to change.
我去公司，问做软件的人。
I go company, ask make software (POSS) person.
I went to the company and asked the developers.
他们说：大家不愿意一直带着重重的东西。
They say: everyone not willing straight carry (CONT) heavy-heavy (POSS) thing.
They said, “People don't want to carry something so heavy forever.”
我们只是帮他们放下。
We only is help they put-down.
“We're just helping them set it down.”
我问：放下，和忘掉，是一回事吗？
